Upcoming Parent Retreat in Charlotte, NC

John has scheduled a two-day, small-group “Parent Retreat” for April 26 and 27 in Charlotte, NC. Over the past ten years, John has hosted these Retreats in locations all over the USA, including Hawaii.

A Parent Retreat is a two-day, highly individualized seminar-style workshop in which John covers nearly every aspect of parenting children from tots to teens. The focus is on successful discipline. In that regard, John teaches a discipline model that really works! The model is non-psychological, practical, and produces almost instant positive results. Stop arguments, stop tantrums, solve bedtime and mealtime problems, and raise an obedient, happy child. Pie in the sky? Not according to the many parents who have attended a retreat and turned their family life completely around as a consequence.

The upcoming Charlotte Parent Retreat will be held at the Residence Inn by Marriott at Piper Glen. This is a fairly new and very modern hotel with a spacious meeting area. Good restaurants are within walking distance. Registration is limited to 20 people, insuring that everyone gets their fair share of John’s individual attention. The cost, which includes a packet of workshop materials, is as follows:

  • Couple: $700
  • Single Married Parent: $500
  • Single Unmarried Parent: $400

Friday and Saturday’s sessions commence at 9:00 a.m. and wrap at 4:30 p.m. In total, every participant or couple will benefit from approximately 12 workshop hours, during which John will present fundamental concepts for establishing functional parenting leadership and disciplinary tools for solving a broad range of problem areas, including classroom issues. The retreat is appropriate for parents of children of all ages.

Parents can register using the link below or obtain further information by calling Willie Rosemond at 704.860.4711.

Here’s What Past Attendees Have Said

—       My husband and I absolutely loved the parenting seminar this past weekend and feel it is some of the best money we have ever spent on our marriage and kids. Gratefully, our children even presented us with immediate opportunities to practice our new skills and WOW, did they work!                              -KG, submitted two days after attending a retreat in

—       This weekend was perhaps the best thing my husband and I have ever done to enhance our marriage. We are confident our relationship and family will continue to benefit from the lessons learned during this seminar.                           –TC/Lexington,SC/April 2009

—       I was utterly riveted by this experience and have talked non-stop to other parents about it ever since! I feel I have a lot of solid techniques to use at home, but the greatest gift is the empowerment I feel as a parent.                              –RM/Dallas, TX/October 2012

—       I can’t say enough good things about this experience! What we’ve learned has already improved the atmosphere in our home by at least 100 percent. The retreat information was practical, easily understood, and John’s presentation style is absolutely the best! I recommend this without reservations.                         –BL and RL, submitted six weeks after
